Join MoW on a contemplative Full Moon Walk at Papago Park. Participants will meet at 6:30pm at the West Parking Lot located on the west side of Galvin Parkway. As a collective, we will walk Elliot Ramada Loop in silence.
This will be an easy to moderate 2.7-mile walk illuminated by the moon. For extra lighting, feel free to bring a flashlight, and don't forget to pack water for the walk. This trail is wheelchair accessible.

Information on December's Full Moon:
December's full moon is called the Cold Moon. This moon is associated with the month when winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. Additionally, December's full moon is also called the Long Nights Moon by some Native American tribes because it occurs near the winter solstice—the night with the least amount of daylight.
