Francis Alÿs created the work Ciudad Juárez Projects in collaboration with local artists during visits to downtown Juarez, near the international border, and to housing developments in the southern periphery of the city. This exhibition showcases two video works, notes, maps, drawings and photographs that follow the artist’s processes as he negotiates his own role in relation to the conflict playing out in this urban landscape.
